Passion to Purpose

In February of 2024, at 43 years old, I reached a point of resignation. I was convinced I’d be overweight and in pain for the rest of my life - that's just what happens when you get old, right? I hated the way I felt - nothing fit right, I got winded walking up the stairs, and even sitting in church became painful on my shoulders, but I was defeated.

I was athletic my entire life. I played volleyball, softball, ran, roller bladed, joined the wrestling team in high school, and worked out to see just how far I could push my body. I even planned to become a personal trainer at 23. But, I met my soul mate, and put everything else aside. June 3, 2006, we got married and were then given the privilege of raising four amazing children. As life happened, I became more and more out of shape. I had completely neglected myself while serving my family and to be honest, it stung. So, I prayed. I asked God for the will to take care of this amazing body He created for me — and He delivered. He led me to the perfect gym, and over the next 18 months I lost 55 pounds, built muscle, restored my confidence, healed my dowager’s hump, reduced my knee pain, found passion again and am building the dream body I've yearned for my entire life!

Fitness restored parts of my life I never thought I’d see again — confidence, energy, joy, and the ability to live pain-free. Now, I want to shout from the rooftops to every woman like me — who put her family first and lost herself along the way — your story isn’t over! You can start over. You can reach your goals. You can feel good again. After witnessing my own transformation, I decided to make it my mission to help other women, who are sick of being stuck, reclaim their health through solid programming and no-nonsense nutrition guidance. Act 2 Fitness was built on a firm foundation of faith, perseverance, empowerment and the belief in second chances. It would be an honor to walk alongside you in your journey. I look forward to working with you!
